Domestic patent

In principle, the annual fee for domestic invention patents shall be fully funded according to the actual amount paid. The total amount of funding for the same individual shall not exceed 30,000 CNY a year, and the total amount of funding for the same unit shall not exceed 150,000 CNY a year in principle.

Foreign patents

Patents applied for abroad can be funded in the international application stage and in the national application stage. In principle, each stage shall be funded by no more than 70% of the actual amount of the Three Charges; the patents of national and provincial intellectual property pilot demonstration and advantage cultivation enterprises and institutions shall be funded at no more than 85% of the actual amount of the three charges, and the maximum amount of funding at each stage is not more than 10,000 CNY. The total amount of funding for the same person shall not exceed 30,000 CNY a year, and the total amount of funding for the same unit shall not exceed 150,000 CNY a year in principle.

Other

Patents obtained by national and provincial intellectual property pilot demonstration and advantage cultivation enterprises and institutions, innovation and creation, and strategic emerging industries can be funded according to the actual situation, with the total amount of funding not exceeding 300,000 CNY a year.

Chengdu City

In the form of post-subsidy, corresponding subsidies shall be given after investigation

1. Subsidies for patents authorized by the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA)

or patent management departments in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions:

(1) For each invention patent, 1500 CNY and 1000 CNY will be given respectively according to service invention and non-service invention;

(2) A subsidy of 300 CNY will be given for each utility model patent and 200 CNY for each design patent.

2. Subsidies for patents that are authorized by the patent management departments of foreign countries (regions) by submitting applications directly to foreign countries (regions) through PCT or after confidential examination by the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA)

in advance, and have no rights disputes: (organization: CNY/piece)

3.If the same invention patent applying for foreign authorization of invention patent, utility models and industrial design receives authorization from more than one foreign countries (regions), subsidies at most 3 foreign countries (regions) shall be given.

4. If the same non-service inventor applies for patent assistance for non-service invention, a total of no more than 20,000 CNY will be given in the whole year.

The invention patent application is funded by 1500 CNY/piece, and after authorization, it is funded by 3500 CNY/piece, and the subsidy for non-service invention shall be halved;

Enterprises and individuals whose annual fees for invention patents are maintained from the 7th year to the 10th year shall be funded annually, with a maximum subsidy of 2000 CNY/piece.

Strategic emerging industries

Funding for large patent holders in strategic emerging industries is divided into state-owned enterprises, central enterprises and small and medium-sized enterprises, with 100,000 CNY and 50,000 CNY respectively.

Intellectual property service organization

Subsidies to intellectual property service institutions include: an award of 30,000 CNY for those whose annual application volume exceeds 400 and the agency of invention patents reaches more than 45%, an increase of 1000 CNY for every more than 50 applications, a maximum reward of 60,000 CNY, and an award of the honorary title of high-quality intellectual property service institution in Deyang City; and for newly-added intellectual property agency, a subsidy of 150,000 CNY will be given to start-up expenses.

Patent award

Those who have won the Deyang Patent Award will be awarded 100,000 CNY, 60,000 CNY and 30,000 CNY respectively for the Gold Award, Silver Award and Excellence Award.

§ 

According to the application fee and examination fee actually paid for the domestic applied invention patents, a subsidy for service invention is 1,000 CNY/piece will be provided in a lump sum, and a total subsidy for non-service invention of 500 CNY/piece will be provided in a lump sum; 

§ 

For the invention patent authorized in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan province, a total subsidy of 5,000 CNY/piece will be given, and a subsidy of up to 50% of the actual annual fee will be given every year from the first year to the fifth year after the authorization;

§ 

a total subsidy of 500 CNY/piece for domestic authorized utility model patents;

a total subsidy of 300 CNY/piece for domestic authorized design patents.

a total subsidy for foreign authorized invention patents shall not exceed 30,000 CNY/piece, and one-time subsidy for foreign authorized design patents shall not exceed 2000 CNY/piece.
