Award amount

Hubei Patent Award is set up by the provincial people's government and selected once every five years. The Provincial Intellectual Property Office and the Provincial Department of Finance shall determine the amount of various awards according to the fund budget of authorized patent awards and the actual application and evaluation. The bonus amounts of the patent gold award, patent silver award and outstanding inventor award are CNY 200,000, CNY 100,000 and CNY 100,000 respectively.

Wuhan City

Intellectual property creation incentive funds refer to the funds used to support units and individuals to apply for, obtain and maintain patent rights and register the exclusive right of layout-design of integrated circuits. Enterprises and institutions receive a maximum subsidy of CNY 5,000 for each piece of Chinese invention patent authorization, a maximum subsidy of CNY 1000 for each piece of the exclusive right of layout-design of integrated circuits, and enterprises receive a maximum subsidy of CNY 100,000 for each piece of foreign patent authorization.

PCT international application funding standard

Enterprises (institutions), government organizations, scientific research institutions, colleges and universities and other organizations and individuals shall be subsidized according to the standard of CNY 5000/piece, after making an international search report through PCT international application and international search.

PCT international patent authorization award award standard

Enterprises (institutions), government organizations, scientific research institutions, colleges and universities, other organizations and individuals who have obtained foreign authorized patents through PCT shall be rewarded according to the standard of 50,000 CNY/piece.

The patentees who won the China Patent Gold Award, China Excellent Patent Award and Hubei Excellent Patent Award shall be rewarded CNY 50,000, CNY 30,000 and CNY 20,000 respectively.
