Martin seeks to achieve sustainable value for his clients by understanding their inventions down to the underlying physical principles and translating them correctly into the patent world. As a mechanical engineer, he has extensive expertise in the fields of automotive, machine tools, production technology and production metrology. He has particular experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications, oppositions before SIPO.

Martin’s clients range from Fortune 100, universities, hospitals, research institutes to small start-ups. He has extensive experience serving foreign clients from countries including US, Germany, Japan, South Korea and India. His practice includes client counseling, all phases of patent prosecution, patent infringement and validity opinion preparation, reexamination, and litigation support. In addition, he offers opinions on validity, enforceability, licensing, inventorship, and right-to-use matters.

In his part-time, Martin issues articles with topics religion, philosophy, politics, aesthetics, art and psychology involved at serveral Chinese online forums.
